A very interesting and informative book.
John gave a really good view of a young American soldiers time in Vietnam and how it affected him. He had to grow up very quickly and cope with being separated from his family, friends and everything he held dear.
The hostility he encountered on his return home must have been extremely difficult to cope with for a young man who had merely been obeying orders.
